Since deciding to turn our jewelry making into a business, one of our daughters has joined in on the fun. The three of us love designing and creating all of our pieces. March Birthstone

Aquamarine is the birthstone associated with March.  The Aquamarine stone is blue-green  or sea-green in color.   The word Aquamarine is derived from the Latin words aqua marina which means sea water - and thus the reason many call its color sea-green.

The Aquamarine stone is said to symbolize beauty, honesty, loyalty, and happiness and is believed to have healing properties which are said to be associated with the throat and stress related illnesses.

It has been passed down through the ages that a gift of a piece of jewelry containing their birthstone will bring the receipient good luck and protection!
